MidCaelum for Mac

Astrology software for macOS

MidCaelum is a comprehensive astrology application for macOS designed for creating, exploring and interpreting natal charts.

Built specifically for the Mac, MidCaelum combines precise astronomical calculations with a clean, modern interface. It generates detailed natal charts using a choice of house systems and includes planets, major asteroids, lunar nodes, Black Moon Lilith, Chiron, the Ascendant, Midheaven and Part of Fortune.

Two chart styles are available, with dedicated color schemes for screen and printing. MidCaelum also includes a Dynamic Chart, allowing users to move through time and observe planetary positions and aspects evolve interactively.

The application provides an extensive library of built-in interpretations covering planets in signs and houses, major aspects, Ascendant and Midheaven positions, planetary dominants and other chart elements. A distinctive feature is that these interpretation texts can be edited, expanded or replaced by the user, while the original library always remains preserved. Personalized interpretation libraries can also be exported and imported.

MidCaelum supports both tropical and sidereal astrology, several house systems, and a worldwide database of approximately 200,000 locations. Charts can be saved, printed and exported for use in other documents.

Available in English, French, German, Italian, Spanish and Brazilian Portuguese, MidCaelum is intended both for astrology enthusiasts and experienced users looking for a native macOS tool focused on natal chart analysis.
